May 3, 2020Not enough internet data to access our Zoom classes or not free at the time they are offered? No worries, you can now find some of our classes on YouTube. Here is Friday morning’s class, a relatively slow moving gentle to moderate Kripalu Yoga class with a few challenging sequences. https://youtu.be/yHIEG70hvzI “A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”― Albert Einstein... Read more...

    • Meet guest instructor Celestin TWIRINGIYIMANAMeet guest instructor Celestin TWIRINGIYIMANA
February 22, 2020“I’m Celestin TWIRINGIYIMANA , an Intern Dr and Yoga instructor since 2y years ago. I’ve been practicing Yoga last 5 years. I never ask when, how or why, when I’m doing what I like. I just move forward. Yoga taught me flexibility both physically and mentally, to let go my past painful experiences which hold me back and enjoy present moment. Life showed me that regardless of how painful is the truth, it’s always a good remedy due to it’s healing power without leaving a Scar. Therefore I decided to be honest to myself and others. Would you mind to join US??? Most welcome. In Yoga it’s all about Breath and sensation, come and share your Energy and let go… Stress, anxiety, tension and pain. God bless.. Be happy… Namaste” Celestin will be teaching Power Yoga at 9:30 am on Sunday February 23.... Read more...

    • Joseph Maniraguha, new volunteer teacher at ItuzeJoseph Maniraguha, new volunteer teacher at Ituze
January 29, 2020“The first time I saw yoga I thought it was magic, I could not believe that it came from practice. When I started I was stiff and weak. Now, I have become flexible and strong. It was not easy for me. I focused and I began to meditate every day. I started teaching in 2011 and I decided to dedicate my career to yoga. I have trained for over 6 years in Ashtanga Vinyasa and my teacher, founder of Project AIR, was trained by the original teacher of this style. I have been certified as a yoga instructor by Africa Yoga Project. Yoga has taught me to be truthful and humble, I have learned the values of being helpful and generous. I also teach groups of youth and women with WE-ACTx and Musicians Without Borders. I want to give a positive image of yoga and help Rwandan people understand that it is not magic or mystery, that it is practice.”... Read more...
